Privacy Policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
This policy explains what information Friendly MegaCorp LLC ("we", "us") collects through dyall.us ("Dyall"), what we do with it, and who can see it. In short: we collect what Dyall needs to run, the people you share with can see what you share, and we don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Your Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture, as Google shares them when you sign in. We never see your Google password.
- What you add: household and group names, shopping list items, quantities, prices, notes and product links, storage locations and stock levels, and who added, claimed or bought each item.
- Payment handles: your household's Venmo or Cash App handle, if you choose to add one. We don't see or store any payments.
- Invites: the invite links you create, and who used them.
If you import products from a Google Sheet, we fetch the sheet you link to once, only to read the products from it.
Website visits
We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies. Dyall sets one cookie to keep you signed in. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.
Who can see it
- Your household sees its members' names, its lists and stock, and its payment handles.
- Other households in your groups see the group's lists, including your name next to items you add or claim, and your household's payment handles so they can pay you back.
- Anyone with an invite link you create can use it to join, so share invite links only with people you mean to invite.
How we use it
- To run Dyall: show your lists, work out who owes what, and keep your groups in sync.
- To answer your questions and fix problems.
- To keep the service secure and working, and to meet legal obligations.
We don't sell your information, share it for advertising, or send marketing emails.
Who helps us
We share your information only with the companies that run parts of the service for us:
- Google, which handles sign-in.
- Vercel, which hosts the Dyall website.
- Neon, which hosts our database.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety. If Dyall is ever sold, this policy would continue to apply to your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you use Dyall. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete it along with your personal information. Shopping records shared with others, such as past trips and balances, may be kept so that the remaining members' totals still add up.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account. Email hello@friendlymegacorp.com from the email address you sign in with, and we'll respond within 45 days. You can leave a household at any time from Dyall itself.
Security
Your information is stored in a private database and sent over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you, and any regulator, as required by applicable law and without undue delay.
Children
Dyall is for people aged 13 and over, and users under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission (see our Terms of Service). We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have, we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes won't apply to information we already hold without telling you first.
